Udgam plays the role of a development facilitator for disadvantaged and backward com-munities through the mobilization and upliftment of women, widows, landless farmers, unemployed youth and marginalised children. Udgam Charitable Trust is a grass root level, secular and development oriented not for profit organization popularly known as UDGAM, which is convinced that sustainable community development is only possible if and when all elements such as economic, social, political, environmental and cultural are brought together and systematically integrated. Community development is feasible only if all segments of the society are mobilized weaker women, widows who are not treated equally, marginal farmers jobless youth, poor children who do not receive any education!!



India is the country with the highest youth population in the world. The young have the most potential to shape the future of its country. Keeping this is mind, Utsaah is a platform for rural youth to come together and work towards building better social conditions. We believe that the youth are the strongest force in social movements and young people are full of vibrant ideas We provide them with opportunities to plan, decide and work towards improving social conditions. Female foeticide, the worst form of girl child discrimination is still prevalent in our country. According to the United Nations study on Girl Child Rights and Protection in India; out of the 130 million children not in school, almost 60% of them are girls. India represents one of the most adverse Child Sex Ratio (CSR) figures amongst the Southeast Asian countries, reflecting a highly undesirable trend in girl child discrimination. Read More>>
